It's so frustrating, I get a good nights sleep followed by a bad one. It's nearly 3am and I just can't settle.

I try all the usual stuff but my brain still works on overdrive.

I was told by my Osteopath the other day an interesting fact about this. It's all to do with our Fight or Flight mechanism. When we sleep we are at our most vulnerable, so our body puts us on high alert. So all those little minor worries you might have during the day innthe back of your mind not bothering you get amplified at night, so you end up worrying more...making mountains out of mole hills.

So things just play on your mind even though you aren't really thinking about them.

Seems counter productive to me!

To top it off the clocks go back so get less time in bed!!

Actually, come to think of it I've actually got nothing to get up for tomorrow so I'll stay asleep as long as I can!

All I fancy doing now is more crochet as it puts my mind to rest a bit, but I can't be bothered to move, and the cat has just got comfy on me so I have to stay here now!

Anyway, 1 sheep, 2 sheep, 3 sheep.....
