So, to get you up to speed, the last few months of 2019 weren't fantastic. We had to move out of our old unit even though the new one hadn’t been built yet. It was stressful. With that and Christmas looming there were a lot of plates up in the air.

Christmas came and went and so did my birthday and before you know it the first personal shit thing happened. Dan was having second thoughts on our relationship and we ended up having a break. (Not the Ross and Rachel from friends type of break, just some time apart to reflect). I think this for me was the cream before the cherry on top of my cake. February was a very long month and I spent most of it feeling numb.
In the background of this happening Covid was hot topic, it was spreading fast.
Come the end of February and many tears later, Dan and I got back together (YAY, I hear you say!). You would have thought things would go back to normal and everything to carry on as they were, but a new words arrived…
Lockdown
Furlough
Isolate
The Covid Pandemic had hit the UK and we went into full lockdown. Work had closed it’s doors and people were asked if they wanted to go on furlough. Due to my current mental health going down hill I volunteered to take the furlough, I thought it would be a good opportunity to have some “ME” time.
By this time the whole world was uncertain what was going on. Suck in our own homes with only our minds to occupy ourselves (well and Netflix!). Trying to contemplate what would happen next just blew my mind....and I think that was the cherry.
We have now got to March…so much has happened and we haven’t even got to the juicy stuff yet!
