9th April was Chemo No.4, hopefully the last one of the docetaxel that takes so long to administer.

It's was just over 6 hours for it yesterday but least no reactions. Just a very long day.

I got the chair next to the window today, which was nice but by 2pm it was like a green house, I was sweating! Had to ask for a fan in the end as the window was already open and they turned off the heater next to me!

I was still very sleepy during the day, but luckily the steriods didn't keep me up all night so I was able to have a good sleep the night before. Even slept quite well last night too.

I actually kept a time line of my day, so here it is!

7:45am - Get up, shower and get ready

8:00am - Pre Meds of Steriods, antihistamines and something for my stomach

8:30am - Drive to Yeovil for breakfast!

9:00am - Maccies Breakfast

9:15am - Arrive at St Margaret's Hospice

9:30am - Called in for pre checks, weight, HR and O2.

9:45am - Anti Sickness pill

9:50am - Picc line flush and Saline drip

9:55am - Pre Meds, More Steriods

10:30am - Start docetaxel

12:15pm - Lunch! Leek and Potato soup, Cheese and Ham Sandwich and a fruit Salad

16:10pm - Finish docetaxel

16:15pm - Saline flush

16:40pm - Start Cyclophosphamide

17:10pm - Finish Cyclophosphamide

17:12pm - Saline Flush

17:45pm - Home

Once home we had some dinner and I went up to bed about 8pm.

So it's a long day of not doing a lot, but surprisingly tiring!

Today (day after chemo) I've just been relaxing.

Had some Porridge and a Laxido for breakfast to try and help with the constipation and it did!

Later for lunch some Spaghetti Hoops on Toast and a slice of my sister Chocolate Biscuit cake!

My tongue has already started feeling funny. Its hard to describe, its like a fizzy feeling but also a bit numb. I will probably start my lovely bright green mouthwash later to help against mouth ulcers and soreness.

I will post again later in the week if I have the energy. I have to start the injections later, and they make me feel pants and I just want to sleep through it.

Next steps from here is just waiting for my next ultrasound appointment, then an appointment with the surgeon to decide what type of surgery I will need.

I will be either just remove the lump or take the whole boob. Not bothered too much either way, just want it sorted.

Right, time for a nap! I'm sleepy!
