The death of Sarah Harding from Girls Aloud really hits home...

I'm not a fan of the band but seeing anyone the similar age to me die from breast cancer is just scary.

This is why I can't emphasise this enough....

Check yourself regularly, get to know your boobs.

This website is really useful, outlining how to check yourself.

Men, take note, you can also suffer with breast cancer so make sure to look after yourself as well.

Last week a family pet crossed the rainbow bridge, Archie, a large long haired Chihuahua was 11 years old and was such a sweet dog. He travelled the world with Mum and Steve, I swear he had covered more miles than I have in the last 11 years!

Anyway, im in limbo again at the moment. Finished my Chemo and now waiting for Radiotherapy which is due to start on the 16th.

I have to have 10 sessions over the 2 weeks and for some reason im a little anxious about it. Not sure why as I never felt like this before the chemo, I think I maybe worried the side effects might be as bad as chemo, but it shouldn't be.

I'm also a little anxious about going back to work, again I have no reason why. I suppose its the when and how. They are really supportive and only want me back when im ready but I always feel guilty not going back as soon as the treatment is finished. But I do need to let my body recover a bit after everything its been through.

Even today, I'm feeling exhausted. Over the weekend Dan and I went to Truckfest on the Saturday which involved a lot of working and dealing with being around a lot of people. I was great to see the Monster Truck!

Then yesterday I had to go to Taunton to get fitted for some ear plugs to help me sleep, then I popped to see my sister and help her decorate her car a bit. Then on the way home I went to see a friend to lend her my car.

I have taken for granted that just simple interactions with people tires me out. I know we are all feeling a bit like this after all the lockdowns. I think my body just needs more time to recover.

But seems im a sucker for punishment, im sat here this morning emptying the chimney out of all the twigs the birds put down there, im currently starting my 3rd bag!

Me and Dan are hoping to have a Log Burner fitted before Christmas so I need to get it cleaned up!

I forgot to also update you on the removal of my PICC Line! Its so weird to have my arm back again!

My Tattoo is a little wonky now, but it just helps to tell the story!

The Nurse that put that helped put the PICC Line in was the one removing it, She also done most my bloods during my treatment so we had built up quite a bond.

I said to her I was glad to get this out but also quite sad. She completely understood, for the last 7 months this PICC Line has been part of me. It also felt a little anti-climatic at the end of the treatment. I walked out the building and that was it. No bell to ring, no fireworks, just a normal day. It felt weird.

Right I suppose I best get back to it. The house is a mess and needs a damn good clean and tidy. But dont worry, I will take it easy, I promise!

Hot Tub later I reckon, now the PICC Line had gone and healed I cant have a proper soak!

Take it easy all :)
