It's nearly Halloween! 🎃🎃

So don't be scared to check for any lumps and bumps...then speak to someone if you are worried about them. There is no shame in it and doctors have seen all shapes and sizes!

Anyway, My boob has been hurting since Radiotherapy. Wearing my current bras have been squishing them too much and get very uncomfortable after a few hours. Also doesn't help when a 5kg cat comes and stands on my chest!

After measuring myself I went onto the M&S website and put in my measurements. I've bought the size they recommended and it's it's much better fit. No more squishing!

I was very impressed today shopping in M&S on how many types of post surgery bras they had. No longer just frumpy looking ones! Plus so many different sizes.

I really don't think us ladies wear the right size bras. Plus the price of bras aren't cheap if you get a good fitting one. But once in a while you do need to treat yourself. You will feel better for it.

It's now been just over 2 weeks since my treatment has finished and I've got another 2 weeks until I speak to my Oncologist.

It's a horrible time as I have lots of people ask me what the outcome of my treatment is and at the moment all I can say is "ok I guess!"

I'm positive everything is OK, but it would be nice to get that stamp of approval from the oncologist.

You get so much attention during chemo and after that communication seems to all go down hill. I do feel a bit lost.

I did speak to the breast care nurse a while back, hence why I know I can say I think all the treatment went OK. So it's just a case of sit and wait now.

I actually went back to work this week as well. Doing just 2 hours a day to ease me back in. After all the anxiety I had last week about going back it's actually feels like I've never been off.

Luckily I did manage to speak to my doctor before hand to get some extra support with medication.

Next week I hope to do a few more hours, but luckily I'm only doing a 4 day week as Dan and I are going to North Wales for a few days on holiday.

I'm looking forward to getting away for a bit!

2012 was the last time Dan and I went to Anglesey to watch some racing. It was lovely and sunny then, just very windy! I expect it will be the same again this time!

We will have to try and recreate this pic!!

I will certainly need a hat again this time! 🤣🥶👩🏻‍🦲
