May 2020, Furlough had finished at it was time to get back to work…no, not in the office, WFH. No not WTF!
Work from home.

I managed to squeeze a desk and chair in the tiny spare room next to the tumble dryer to be able to work at home. Certainly was better than the laptop on an ironing board sat in the sofa. Least its felt like a work station now.
I’m writing this in March 2021 and im still working from home. Its now become the norm and video calling is my main communication with all the guys at work.
Lockdown lifted a bit as I was able to pop to the lab for a bit of hands on work, but that was short lived when the second lockdown hit. We were still allowed to pop in from time to time but we still had to be careful as covid was on the rise again.
